Mooring Pennants and
Custom Splicing
Our mooring pennants are crafted
from double braid line, featuring a
polyester cover and a nylon core. This
combination allows for the greater abrasion
strength of polyester with the elasticity of
nylon. All pennants include properly sized
stainless steel thimbles and a hardened
steel oval ring. A flexible nylon chafe
sleeve is standard to help prevent wear when
contact is made with the boat. All of our
pennants are assembled in house to ensure
the highest quality. We even supply them to
other mooring companies and boat
manufacturers!

Cyclone Mooring Pennants
Cyclone mooring pennants are made
from STS-12 (Endura 12) line which
is constructed from Dyneema fibers.
Cyclone pennants are part of a
system, and are attached to the
upper end of a standard pennant, and
have the following advantages:
Greater tensile strength allows a
smaller diameter line to be used
where the pennant is run through
chocks and cleats.
Very little stretch and elongation
means greater resistance to chafing
in storm conditions and less heat
build up.
We stock some 1/2, 5/8 and 3/4
variations however most Cyclone
pennants are custom made to fit your

Gilman
Softlite Buoys
|
Gilman Softlite buoys
offer a number of advantages over a
standard hard sided buoy.
Buoys are constructed with a soft
foam collar and are sized
appropriately to contain the metal
pennant hardware so that it does not
damage the hull of your boat.
The soft collar also acts as pennant
storage when you are away from your
mooring. This keeps the pennants
clean and dry, and makes retrieving
pennants much easier.
Buoys have a 3 inch hole that will
hold your pick up buoy in the top
which prevents it from getting
tangled while you are away.
We typically stock buoys in 3 sizes.
All buoys have a white collar and
the lower portion is colored blue.

Graphics
We letter Gilman buoys with graphics
made from OraLite reflective material.
We typically stock Blue and Red and
cut graphics in house. Custom graphics
available.

Pick Up Buoys
We carry IMS Non-splintering Pick
up buoys in 4 sizes
4, 6 or 8 foot standard
10 foot deluxe with heavy stick
Pickup sticks feature a distinctive orange
colored coating.
Lead counterweight is rubber coated.

Chain and
Shackles
We stock
Acco / Peerless grade 43 hot dipped galvanized
mooring chain. Our experience has shown that
Acco chain performs the best in an exposed
harbor like Marblehead. We stock 3/8, 1/2, 5/8
and 3/4 in various lengths.

We
stock Chicago Hardware galvanized shackles
which time after time have proven to be the
best in our application. In stock sizes are
1/2, 5/8, 3/4 and 7/8

Concrete Mooring
Blocks
Our concrete mooring blocks are made by a local
precast concrete company to our specs. Blocks feature
a 1 1/4" steel eye which is reinforced with rebar.
Sizes available from 2000 - 8000 lbs.
